Our team is the heart of the establishments Du Théâtre and Lorenzini. Every single one of our employees does not simply work for Lorenzini AG, but lives for our restaurants and identifies her/himself with them. Our chief cook Gino i.e. has been working at Lorenzini for 25 years! Those working for us enjoy being a host and more precisely a teamplayer. Those willing to work for us should bring along these qualities.

The society's philosophie

Lorenzini AG focuses on culture and on people. The bars and the Ristorante Lorenzini are a meeting place for guests of all classes who like the Italian ambiente and food culture. We take care of the beautiful things in life and focus on Italian food and good wine.

Du Théâtre as a meeting and party place pampers guests and ideally completes the Lorenzini. Together they create a world of experience and adventure in Berne. Our team is the heart of that world.

The kitchen, in strong Italian hands
Gino Ludovico, our chief cook since 1982, loves to speed up on his motorcycle or on skis. After work, he slows down enjoying a glass of wine.
Angelo Palumbo, our assistant chief cook, trembles every time the Italian football team enters the field. Among his hobbies, he counts his garden, football and tennis, and a glass of Barolo after work.

Ristorante Lorenzini - two hearty hosts
Francisco Ribeiro, loves to work at Lorenzini (which he does since 1989). He pampers his guests in his own sympathetic way. While jogging, playing football or mountainbiking he recovers from the "kilometres" he made at work.

Du Théâtre „Good Lounge Feeling“ Team
Carla Lopez is a typical temperamental Portuguese. In her spare time she enjoys a good glass of Champagne in good company with her friends.
Emanuell Garrido is fascinated by racing. Cars and go-carts are his passion. He loves to take his three year old son Renato out for a drive in his tuned car.

Assistant Manager Lorenzini AG
Ani Acosta loves to play football in his free time. Owing to his Argentine roots he plays like Maradona. Good food and good Argentine wine tasted with the family are important to him. His southern temper and flair please the guests of the Wine and Quick bar.
